The Adventure of a Lifetime Has Begun...

In 1994, I created an animated short which combined my love of Speed Racer, James Bond and Archie Comics. I mixed in some history, 60's pop culture and political commentary, and called it, "Surfur Gurl"

I wrote the story, designed all the characters, drew all the art, directed and did the voices for all the characters, except Surfur Gurl, and invested two years and thousands of dollars to get the project done.

My intention was to sell the finished pilot to MTV's Liquid Television but my closest friend, who I had working with me on the show, tried to steal the project and ultimately sabotaged all my hard work.

For the last twelve years I have been working toward being able to continue with this project as an illustrated serialized adventure online, and I am proud to finally announce the launch of the Official Surfur Gurl website...and the beginning of the very first adventure;

"Surfur Gurl and the Mysterious Surfboard"

K2's PORTFOLIO

Before I started BPS, I was a professional designer and illustrator for almost 20 years, starting my professional career while still in high school.

Over the years, my work has appeared in so many different places and in so many different markets that it would be impossible to list them all; Special events posters for Walter Payton's Nightclubs, t-shirt designs, catalog illustrations, newspaper and magazine ads, children's menus, retail packaging, retail toys, educational toys, cereal premiums...even a Chicago cow in 1999.

I also love to paint using a combination of materials and mediums. The subjects that interest me are pop culture, movie stars and erotic art. I have done several art shows over the years, along such greats as pin-up legend, Olivia!

The scope of my professional work, both commercial and non-commercial, knows no bounds except where I place them.

This section is just a fraction of the work I have done over the years. Unfortunately, with all the image piracy on the internet, I'm afraid that I can't show you more of my art but I have included the work I did designing the Star Wars Episode II cereal premiums for General Mills, plus some of the unused concept designs, as well as some of my own original electronic music.

Enjoy!

A Teenage Girl...An Ancient Curse...And Three Nights of the Full Moon!

The Autumn Moon Saga is a serious take on what would happen to your life, if you woke up one day and found out that you had become a werewolf.

I originally wrote this story as a movie script but without the funds to make a film I decided to try my hand at turning it into a comic book.

In 2003 and again in 2005, BPS published the two part story, Autumn Moon: Book One "Things Change", which tells how our tragic heroine, Autumn Moon, first becomes a werewolf.

The second issue of Autumn Moon has a three page transformation sequence, the likes of which has never been done before in comics!!!

Autumn Moon deals with some heavy issues; pain, death, loss, self-discovery, and ultimately, redemption. Llike most horror movies, Autumn Moon is rated "R". It has nudity, violence, strong language and is intended for mature audiences 18 years and older.

The first "Book" in the Saga is available for sale in a two part printed comic book which you can purchase exclusively on the order page of this website.

If you liked such werewolf films as "American Werewolf in London" and "The Howling", then Autumn Moon will give you something to howl about.

Coming in 2009...

Book Two of the Autumn Moon Saga!
